It is surrounded by world-renowned and picturesque wine growing regions (some less than an hour's drive from the centre of town) and it has a vibrant bar and restaurant culture. There is always some kind of festival going on; just walk the streets and you'll find an event. If great food & wine, and general joie de vivre are your things, get to Adelaide asap!

I love the smiles, friendliness, and goodness I see in people. I love the new buildings being colourful and pretty, I think the transport system is fantastic and contrary to what travel agents tell, there is so much to see in this beautiful, clean and easy to walk around city. I love it so much, I have put my house for sale in Melbourne to move near the CBD, to Mount Barker.

Adelaide is our favourite Australian capital city.
Adelaide is our favourite Australian capital city. It has a fantastically relaxed pace and so much to see and do. It is very easy to get around and the locals are friendly. We love the parks surrounding the city and enjoy the shopping too. The scooters are fun to zip around on and there are soooo many great events. We come annually for the 5 Star Equestrian event and have a list of favourite restaurants to visit when we are there; La Trattoria for dinner is a must and we also love the Market district in the evenings. We stayed at Hotel Indigo on our last trip and would definitely recommend it to others.
Such a quirky little place, beautifully renovated in a mid-century Palm springs style. The room exceeded expectation. The bed was very comfortable, and we had plenty of space in the 2bd apartment.
The pool was surprisingly warm (kids wanted to swim even though it was cool out).
It short car ride to port Adelaide, and allowed us a nice base to explore.
The lady at the front desk was welcoming and friendly.
And The hotel seemed very clean throughout.
Lastly the price was incredible.
The location of the hotel is great, right in the heart of the Adelaide CBD. Close to shopping, eateries and public transport like the famous Adelaide trams. The room was generous in size and the facilities in the room were fantastic, in particular the comfy beds and great selection of coffee (even Pod coffee was an option) and tea to choose from. The staff at front reception and throughout the hotel were friendly and courteous and made our stay all that more enjoyable.
The convenience to the Adelaide CBD and Adelaide's inner Eastern suburbs.
The staff were attentive, friendly, responsive, and yet unobtrusive.
The balcony permitted an excellent view of the Adelaide Christmas Pageant, which includes Pulteney Street as part of its route.
The apartments are part of Adelaide's historic architecture and the high ceilings and solid construction made for a very comfortable and relaxing stay.
Centrally located, lots of options for eating in and around the Adelaide Markets area. We used the Tram a lot to travel down to Glenelg to meet up with family and friends. Great way to travel. The hotel itself was clean and tidy, the room was exceptionally clean. Beds were very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and happy to assist in anyway they could. Highly recommend.
I've stayed in other Vibe Hotels in Canberra and Hobart and the Vibe Hotel Adelaide didn't disappoint. Quite location but an easy walking distance to the CBD and a great range of restaurants in Rundle Street (I would highly recommend Daughter in Law for great Indian food), lovely welcoming staff and a modern and well appointed room with a comfortable bed. It gave me all I needed!
Lovely hotel with great hospitality and incredible amenities. From start to finish service was excellent with Dushan and the front office team leading the way. Hotel is very centrally located in Adelaide CBD, situated a stone throw's away from the Adelaide markets and Chinatown district. More importantly our room was spotless and king beds were luxurious.
This is the perfect place for an Adelaide CBD overnighter. You have all the amenities of being in the city yet the peace of a garden like location. The staff is extraordinary...nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast location and menu a delight with excellent service. Thanks Oval Hotel team. I'll be back !!
Good location - convenient to Adelaide CBD, pubs, restaurants, supermarket & city circle bus. Staff were friendly and helpful. Property was clean, with good kitchen, bathroom, lounge/dining and comfy bed. Our room had a faulty card slot and we were relocated to a better room with a balcony and view.
We had a wonderful five day stay at Treasury Apartments. We came because of the AFL ‘Gathering’ Round. The hotel is magnificently situated in the very heart of Adelaide. It’s such a historic building, beautifully refurbished. Parking was easy (once we found out where the garage was).
Good apartments with self contained amenities (Kitchen, landry). Very large and comfortable beds in seperate bedrooms. Easy walk and drive to Adelaide parklands and CBD. Secure parking with internal access to rooms. Located near the Old Lion pub and other restaurants which was great.
Beds were comfy. Great location for access to Adelaide Oval and public transport and down town Adelaide. Security and access to hotel was good as location was smack bang in the mniddle of all the action on Hindley Street. Would stay again if going to footy at AO.
Booked the hotel because it was one of the cheapest in the CBD and was expecting it to be substandard as a result. However, I was really pleasantly surprised with the quality of the hotel and its rooms and the friendly and efficient staff
Great Location. Very short walk to Restaurants & Pubs in O'Connell st. As well as close to both Adelaide oval (1.5km) and CBD (2km). Rooms were well appointed and modern with coffee machine. Everything was well maintained and clean.
Convenient location near public transport, Festival Plaza and CBD, with nearby eateries and nice pool and gym. Well equipped kitchen except knives! Interesting view across the city, better at night when lit up. Efficient lifts.
the Hotel is brand new which is very exciting in the perfect location for the Adelaide Fringe Festival which is why were in town visiting from country SA
The room was very well appointed and very quiet with a lovely view.
Great location for the busy Adelaide CBD.
You’re about 150-200m away from everything you need; groceries, shopping, restaurants, and even entertainment too!
Small but to the point and perfect for a weekend in the city.
The best thing about this hotel is the extremely friendly reception personnel and good location to Adelaide CBD. Room is clean and spacious enough but nothing special to write home about. It's okay for short stays.
Location and friendly staff. Excellent for us as we were attending a cricket game at the Adelaide Oval which was only about 6 kms away and that's your CBD too. Nothing fancy but great value for money.
The room on the first floor of an older style hotel was rennovated with modern facilities and friendly staffs. The location is perfect, in the City Centre, next to the Adelaide Central Bus Station.
